And with the unique lies Faxon is tested against, it is highly entertaining as well.
Enjoy!

How about a match? After-all, the oldest form of competitive golf is Match Play!
The Rules of Golf define match play as "a game played by holes. And except otherwise provided in the rules, a hole is won by the side which holes the ball in fewer strokes. In a handicap match, the lower net score wins the hole."
Different than Stroke Play where a player can often be crippled by a single slip up, and eliminated from contention at any point in the round, Match Play can be much more forgiving. If you make a small mistake in Match Play, the bad news is over the moment the hole is over, and then a new hole begins. This style of play can be a lot more fun and relaxing in the sense that it has a built-in margin of error. And, this also prevents a round from becoming an exercise in futility.
So, next time you are going to play a game of golf agree to a match against a friend, or fellow competitor. Take a risk and challenge someone to a match!
Click here to find out some exceptional ways to to prepare for Match Play, including how getting to know your opponent can help you dominate.
Golfingly,

The Tuesday Ladies FUN League raised its glasses and saluted another fine season of fun and games at the 2013 Season Ending Party this past week.
And even though the organized schedule of this league's unique style of play has officially come to an end, Greenacres will proudly keep its fairways open for all of those who wish to sign up and play until we meet again in the spring.
The Tuesday Ladies FUN League is a non-competitive golfing experience that offers both 9 hole and 18 hole adventures. It is designed as a weekly social for all women golfers where we offer relaxing golf, delicious food, enjoyable wines, and the greatest of times. We are constantly working together in hopes that the ladies of our FUN League walk away with new friends, a better game, and a lasting memory. Greenacres Golf Course would like to sincerely thank all of the ladies who joined our league this year. We are already looking forward to seeing you (and a few new friends) again next year!
