With the improved weather and the course in very good winter shape, the golf year is now under way. And that means it is imperative to move more effectively towards the ultimate goal that we have set out for ourselves.
In the game of golf, it is easy to say that most of our ultimate goals are directly related to lowering our score. That said, actually breaking down the "art of scoring" is one of the most useful ways to begin the process of playing better golf.
With this in mind it is a great idea to begin learning how to play an effective short game before learning how to hit a full wedge into the green and then keep missing the putt. Recipe of the Month
Did you have a chance to try our Shrimp Po'boy when it was
it was on our lunch feature? Give it a try @ home !
Shrimp Po'boy
Ingredients
-1 lb medium shrimp ,shelled, deveined, and tails removed
-¾ cup panko bread crumbs -Oil for frying
-¾ cup flour -1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
-1tsp garlic salt -3 eggs beaten
-1 lb coleslaw -Mini French rolls
-Chipotle mayonnaise
1. Pour enough oil in a large frying pan to come up ¼ inch and set over medium heat.
2. Mix panko bread crumbs, flour and seasoning in a large bowl, soak shrimp in egg wash then in the breading mixture, shake off excess and
fry till golden brown on both side about 2min. Set fried shrimp in a sieve or on paper towels to drain.
3. To assemble sandwich, open sandwich rolls along slice, spread chipotle mayo on both sides, lay down a layer of coleslaw salad on bottom half, arrange shrimp on coleslaw then add more chipotle mayo on shrimp, cover with top half of bread and serve. Enjoy!
