Greetings!

Greetings,

Golf in November can really be an enjoyable experience! Greater availability of tee times, quicker round play, reduced green fees and simply being able to enjoy the more pleasant days by being outside on the golf course are all reasons that late fall golf can be a plus.
We have even designed our Spike Lounge Grill menu to compliment your round!

With the month of December lurking in the distance we also have made arrangements to accommodate those interested in hosting an amazing Holiday Party. So whether it is a round of golf, a relaxing dinner or more information on our Banquet Room availability for the holiday season, just give us a call @ 604.273.1121.

Golf Tip of the Month
With November rain soaking the fairways of the local golf courses in the lower mainland it tends to make conditions a little tougher on the ardent golfer.  As such, the RCGA is most likely to shut down a players ability to enter their scores into the computer until the spring for fear of inflating our handicaps.

During these times it is worthwhile to continue playing, support your local golf course and stay in golf shape whenever possible. Experimenting with different shots and understanding the effects of varying weather conditions can have on your game can pay dividends in lowering your handicap when the computers turn back on in the spring.

So, play the ball as it lies...

Unless your ball is embedded into the ground resist all temptation to lift, clean and place. Instead, work on your ability to overcome difficult situations, tricky lies and adverse situations. This type of training should force you to concentrate on making solid contact that will propel your ball towards the target. Playing the ball as it lies is a key ingredient in getting back to the soul of the game. We can finally put the score aside, have fun and try something new.

**When playing this way just remember: the ball will generally travel in the opposite direction of the position of the mud on the ball.  So, Mud on the Right side of your ball, Ball go Left.  Mud on Left, Ball go Right!

Enjoy your game!
