Finishing Touches on New Campus Building
| |
IFNH building about to make its debut.
The chain link construction fence is gone; trees and grass are being planted; furnishings and fixtures are installed; floor to ceiling windows are washed. The finishing touches are nearly complete for the home of the New Jersey Institute for Food, Nutrition, and Health, the first major newbuilding on the G.H. Cook Campus since 1996. This state-of-the-art center of operations for the Institute will house a universitywide team of scientists, faculty, staff, and graduate students, headed by founding director Peter J. Gillies, which will be dedicated to managing and resolving society's major unmet needs in the area of food, nutrition, and health through nutritional and dietary research and prevention. Team members will begin occupying the building in early July, and the official grand opening will take place on October 27, 2015. Learn more about the Institute and its programs.
