Welcome to the December Issue of The BAC Bulletin & DA News! Aircraft icing is a huge safety issue in the winter months, so in this issue, we review some best practices to help prevent and reduce the risk of aircraft icing.
Some important reminders:
- Our new winter hours are 7:45am – 6:00pm at both the BAC and DA facilities.
- We have a Toys for Tots box in the BAC office, so please drop an unwrapped new toy in the box before pick up on December 19.
- To schedule pre-flight preheating of your aircraft, call the BAC office the night before at (203) 748-7000. Monthly fee of $25 from November to April includes supervision and observation by BAC staff. One-time rates also available.
- If you have questions about cold weather preparation, call us at (203) 748-7000. Also visit our website regularly for important BAC and DA announcements.
