Is remodeling my current home less expensive than building a new home?

Unless there are massive structural issues, the answer is it is absolutely less expensive to remodel than build a new home! With remodeling, you don't have the costly expense of new infrastructure like new septic system designs, expensive hook up fees for town sewer or water. We can often re-use existing wiring and pipes. During the design process, we often try to re-use as much as possible saving clients the most money while still achieving our design goals.

 

Why is it said that kitchen remodeling promises the largest return on investment?

Kitchens are the most often used area in the home and takes the most wear & tear. All homeowners know this area will have to be remodeled first so money will have to be invested. The more that's updated/remodeled, the less that will have to be done at a later time.

Our philosophy doesn't change between large and small-scale projects but some of the resources and processes do. Commitment to quality and customer service has to be a constant.
