I just today received notice on roofing prices I wanted to pass along as soon as possible. Notices were received from GAF, CertainTeed, IKO, and Tamko regarding a shingle price increase of 10 - 14% in the next few months.  In addition, two of them predicted a second increase in April of another 12 - 14%.   That is we will probably be looking at a 22 - 28% shingle price increase by late spring.

It appears that we are not free from periodic increases we've experienced during the last 4 years.  As we have seen in the past, manufacturers can often times play a "cat and mouse" game to see who is going to do what and when, so this may all happen very quickly or get drawn out into early summer but it looks like there WILL  be roofing price increases.

Even though we wish it was better news,  still needed to get this out as soon as possible so everyone is informed.
