Featuring...

This is a very special time of year when we take a look back at some of our most popular segments of 2013. Let's get things started with American Young. Half of the new Curb duo is a well known writer and producer, and the other half is one hot fiddle player. Their hit Love and War was an amazing song for them, which was produced by hit singer songwriter and now producer Lee Brice. We had a chance to catch up with AY at a showcase during this year's CMA Music Fest downtown. Here is Kelly Lynn with more.

The Bootstraps Foundation is an incredible organization dedicated to helping young people succeed. For those facing many challenges in life, some are still pushing ahead, and Bootstraps wants to help them attend college and get into a mentoring program. This fall, the second annual Passion For Fashion fundraiser was a huge boost to the organization, and was sponsored by Zuus Country. Kelly Sutton headed out to the big event to learn more about a Passion For Fashion. Check it out here.

As 2013 is winding down, we wanted to take a look at some of our most popular features, which certainly includes Hunter Hayes. Hunter has seen four number one hits in his very short career, and he launched his first headlining tour this fall. Kelly Lynn had a chance to celebrate the launch of that tour at the final rehearsal at Nashville's Tennessee Performing Arts Center. Catch up with Kelly Lynn right here.

We're taking a look back at some of our best features of the year, and LeAnn Rimes definitely had a story to tell with the release of Spitfire. Many details of her life have been exposed in the tabloids, but she's done her best to keep those stories at bay. When she released Spitfire in June, she released a lot of pent-up emotion and energy in a very personal way. Here is Kelly Lynn with more.

As an independent artist, Lisa Matassa is really making a name for herself in country music. It's tough enough to be an artist, but as you can see from this next interview, life is all about finding a balance. Lisa's hit Somebody's Baby took the number one spot on the iHeart Radio country chart for an incredible eight weeks. Her latest single I Won't Ask was released in September and is still climbing the charts. Kelly Lynn sat down with Lisa in April to talk about everything from the awards shows to new music. Join the conversation here.

Steve Wariner was having so much fun putting out instrumental albums that he just didn't think about putting out a non-instrumental project for almost eight years. Fans looking for more incredible songs like Holes In The Floor of Heaven and Two Teardrops won't be disappointed with the album he put out in September. It Ain't All Bad certainly takes a look at the brighter side of life. In addition to being an incredible singer, songwriter, and certified guitar picker, Steve is also an accomplished artist. He just wrapped up an exhibit at the Tennessee State Museum, where he had 25 pieces of work displayed. Look for him to hit the road hard this year, kicking things off in the Northeast this spring. Here is Kelly with more.

Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis have lead somewhat parallel lives, and knew each other mostly in passing as they matured in the music business. It wasn't until they got together for a few Grits and Glamour shows that they really started to bond. After touring together for a bit, they were encouraged to put out a duets album. The Dos Divas project was released in July, and has given each of them a new perspective on life. Listen to Pam and Lorrie explain what it's all about right here.

Now when a song hits the top of the charts, the performing rights organizations typically hold a party to celebrate. When Jake Owen took the top spot with his hit Anywhere With You, he went a few steps further, holding a huge block party for his fans. Kelly Lynn caught up with Jake and the songwriters before the largest number one party at BMI's Nashville headquarters. Join the party here.

As a schoolteacher, Elizabeth South has plenty of inspiration to work with when writing new material. Her biggest hit to date has been a duet with Vince Gill called I Love You, and she just released her follow-up album last month called Dream With Me. Kelly Lynn sat down with Elizabeth this summer to talk about how Vince signed on to the project and her other inspirations in life. Catch up with Kelly right here.

We'll continue now with the Davisson Brothers, who are one of the hardest working bands in country music, playing roughly two shows every three days. They were in town this summer to film parts of their latest music video called Country Just Like Me, and Kelly Lynn caught up with them on their bus to talk about the video and some of the very special guests that came in for the day. Go behind-the-scenes right here.

Next up is a new artist who has grown up in the music business. As the son of one of the biggest songwriters in the industry, Thomas Rhett is off to a fast start in his young career. Since this feature initially aired, Thomas has celebrated a number one hit he wrote for Florida Georgia Line, as well as his very first number one as an artist for It Goes Like This. His debut album was released in October, and Kelly Lynn caught up with him to talk about the launch of that new project. Check out Thomas Rhett right here.

Kelly Lynn had a chance to visit a few months ago with The Band Perry and the other songwriters behind their latest number one hit called Done. You'll hear all about how this song became the exclamation point on their Pioneer album. Join Kelly here to hear all about it.

In this special year-end episode of Inside Music Row, The Band Perry chats

with Kelly Lynn about their latest number one hit Done.
