 About the Ensemble 
fiddle red boardsThe purpose of the orchestra is to provide a place for musicians to learn all the basics of performing and musicianship, both in the traditional manner (learning by ear) and using sheet music. The graduated parts allow musicians of various ability levels to play together in harmony.

New Hampshire Fiddle Ensemble Benefit Concerts

Hi all,
NH Fiddle Ensemble Benefit Concerts are coming up again. This is becoming a popular show with some great crowds. Last year, the crowd was out the door for the Franklin Concert and we had to start the show late so please get tickets ahead of time. It's guaranteed to be an uplifting and fun show. I've also included other news about Fiddleheads Camp and some JamCamp opportunities.

Bluegrass Jamming Classes Start May 7 in Nottingham

On Saturday, May 7, I will be teaching the first of four Bluegrass Jamming Classes in Nottingham. All bluegrass instruments are welcome and no jamming experience is necessary. Registration fee for all six classes is $160 and repeat students can register for $120. If you are currently a private student of mine, registration is $100.

Classes are held on three Saturdays, May 7, 14 and 21 9am-1pm and there is one class on Sunday, May 22, 2pm-6pm.

Tuition is $160 for four classes. These discounts are available:
- Bass players and repeat students: $120
- My private students: $100

Mark your calendars for this year's Fiddleheads Acoustic JamCamp on September 9-11, 2016. Camp is again being held at Camp Methodios on Clement Pond in Contoocook, New Hampshire.

The retreat house goes fast and has already taken some registrations for 2016.

Silver Bay Bluegrass Camp is coming up on June 24-29 and I will be teaching there along with other instructors including: Pete Wernick, Ira Gitlin, Joan Wernick, Bob Amos, Bob Altschuler, Alan Epstein, Harry Gambrill and Terry Baker.

Attendees can select either the morning-only or full-day program over the five day camp. Registration is $250 for morning only or $400 for five full days. The Silver Bay YMCA on Lake George is a beautiful location with many family activities. For more Camp info., click the links below:
