Valley First opened the doors of its Rutland branch at Valley First Place on Monday, March 4 and Chamber representatives were their for the grand opening on Thursday, April 15.
  
The credit union's newest location, situated at the corner of Rutland Rd and Highway 33, adds to the continuing revitalization of the Rutland community and will give consumers greater choice of financial institutions and easier access to financial expertise.
  
  
Canadian Chamber of Commerce & Grant Thornton LLP

   
The Canadian Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Grant Thornton LLP to present the Private Business Growth Award. This award will recognize and celebrate dynamic, privately-held businesses whose growth strategy encompasses a broad range of activities across their business.

 

Nominations for this national award are open to Canadian-owned, privately-held businesses with annual revenues over $5 million. The deadline for nominations is Aug. 30, 2013.
