Full Scholarships to Spirit of Alexandria Nature Camp Available
Howell, Mi - July 10, 2013 -The Spirit of Alexandria Foundation has funded approximately 120 FULL CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS for third- to fifth-graders at the Howell Conference & Nature Center. Session II of this special camp is filled to capacity and only 30 spots remain for Session I of this fun, FREE overnight camp, which will take place July 22 through 26, 2013.

 

Children in third, fourth, and fifth grades who are interested in attending this camp should have a strong interest in nature. Campers will enjoy many traditional activities such as zip line rides, canoeing, archery, and swimming. In addition, there will be many special nature-focused activities designed exclusively for this camp, such as field sketching. Children will make new friends, explore and learn about nature, and try new adventures while attending this resident (overnight) camp.

 

To be considered for a full scholarship, children MUST NOT have attended Spirit of Alexandria Nature Camp in the past. They must complete the essay portion of the one-page application independently, and all applications must have a parent signature. Return completed applications to the Howell Nature Center, 1005 Triangle Lake Road. Howell, MI 48843. Refer any questions to  the Camp Registrar at 517-546-0249.
