Take advantage of a unique opportunity to learn the principles of macro photography -capturing small subjects like insects and flowers-in a beautiful natural setting.

 

This three-day workshop will take place under the direction of Steve Gettle, a nationally known, well-published, professional nature photographer. Steve donates his time and knowledge of the fine art of nature photography to benefit the participants and the Howell Nature Center. Learn more about Steve and his work.

 

Photographers of all skill levels are welcome,

but please have working knowledge of your equipment.

Fall Photography Workshops

Steve Gettle Photo 1

You will have the opportunity to photograph birds-of-prey in a beautiful natural setting. The birds are tethered at the edge of a large field, with a great deal of attention given to props, perches and backgrounds. The workshop is under the direction of Steve Gettle, a nationally known, well-published, professional nature photographer. Steve donates his time and knowledge of the fine art of nature photography to benefit the participants.

 

Each session will last four - five hours and include a great lunch!

$75 per person, per day
