But wait - there's MORE!
Stop and say hello to my amazingly talented husband Andy as he launches
Creating beautiful hand turned ornaments, gifts and tools from salvaged and reclaimed materials he will be showing you how it's done and signing his pieces. Molbak's carries his Holiday Collectables as well as a range of his beautiful vases which sell so fast we don't even have them on his website!
As I mentioned in my last newsletter Christina and I are busy writing our next book FOLIAGE FIRST for Timber Press and this one will cover all four seasons. That means we are looking for gardens to photograph especially during this fall and winter.
They can be large or small, big wide landscape shots or just a group of plants as long as you enjoy them and believe others would too.
Since we are doing all the photography Greater Seattle is of course the easiest but we would also be happy to travel if we could organize a number of photo shoots within the same area.
So put your thinking caps on and email me if you have any ideas.
I have stepped down from writing for Houzz on a regular basis since I'm rather busy with the book! However I still have a few articles being published that I think you'd enjoy
Fine Foliage received the 2014 GOLD award by the Garden Writer's Association for overall best product, winning over all other books, magazines, flyers, brochures, catalogs and calendars printed last year!
Remember you can buy signed copies from my website. Great gift!
Interested in booking a seminar or presentation for your area, event or garden club? Just send me an email and feel free to read reviews of my talks on the Great Garden Speakers website.
Want to know more about the talks I offer? For those within driving distance of Seattle here are some suggestions. For those further afield I still offer a great selection(but can't manhandle heavy pots and plants onto planes!) Of course I am always happy to tailor it to your audience. Contact me for fee details
I'm also happy to design custom workshops for your group
Garden Adventures - for thumbs of all colors, is a lighthearted, information packed blog for all gardeners and garden lovers. Laugh while you learn, pick up new ideas and be inspired by others is the theme as I cover everything from container design to slug patrol.

Arkansas blue star (Amsonia hubrechtii) has sensational foliage in spring and summer but it is in fall that it really shines. Green gives way to gold, orange and finally burgundy. Every day it seems to get better and better.
Plant in large groups for the best effect and expect it to take three years to really fill out.
We have a large blue & green Eddie Bauer umbrella gathering dog fur - it was left behind after our Meet the Artist event. Check to see if it is yours or a friends.
