July 2014
TV interviews will seem easy after this!

Lights, Camera, ACTION!

I've got a fun month ahead of me as I am being filmed for a 7 part online garden design course;

BOLD GARDEN DESIGN;

Foliage, Focal Points & Vignettes

It's a little nerve wracking  to try and get the garden in top shape plus prepare seven presentations but I always did love a challenge!

We will be filming July 14-18th using our little cabin as a studio but shooting footage in three spectacular gardens as well as my own. I can promise you it will be inspirational and informative - hopefully in equal measure with a good bit of 'Karen style' thrown in I'm sure.

The online class will go live early September - stay tuned for details!

A SPECIAL EVENT

Meet the Artist - Become the Artist, Duvall, WA

Saturday August  2nd (10am-1.00pm)

How often have you purchased a piece of garden art because you love it but then spend an hour walking around the garden wondering where to put it? This unique event is designed to help you showcase the art while enhancing the garden as I offer an inspirational presentation and demonstration in our peaceful 5 acre garden.

 We will be featuring the work of Seattle glass artist Jesse Kelly and local sculptor Luke DeLatour, giving you the opportunity to meet the artists, ask questions, learn about the work, purchase items and request custom pieces.

A delicious lunch and snacks will be provided and you'll go home with a custom print of my garden signed by both David and myself as well as a wealth of knowledge and confidence.
