Delco Road Runners Club Mission
A. To promote regular running as a life-long activity that will enhance the physical, mental and emotional well being of people of all ages.
B. To sponsor weekly fun-runs in Delaware County neighborhoods for fun and fellowship.
C. To promote communication and camaraderie among area runners.
D. To facilitate competitive racing and team competition for all interested members.

No quote this week. The club is looking for someone to be the new newsletter editor. If you have any interest in taking over, contact me at info@delcorrc.com and I'll give you the information you need. You can also contact Diane Lista at the same email address.
Also looking for a couple of other positions to be filled. The club is looking for someone to maintain and update the club website and to check the club email on a frequent basis and forward emails to who needs them and respond to inquiries.
Thanks to Bill McGurk who has been doing this newsletter, the club website, and the attendance for the club runs the last several years . It's a lot of work and the club truly appreciates all of the hard work he has done.

| Swarthmore Fun Run - Every Wednesday - Our Most Attended Fun Run! |
40 runners and walkers joined up at the Swarthmore Fun Run last night. 13 people went to Swarthmore Pizza after the run to enjoy good food, drink and friends. Remember, you don't have to run to join us for dinner. Come on out and join in the fun. All abilities are welcome both to the run/walk and to eat.

Philly Marathon Water stop | |
With the Philadelphia marathon only a few weeks away, we are still short of the 100 volunteers we need to run our water stop. Not only can you volunteer, but you can bring a friend, family member, co-worker, or some of each to join you. The marathon is Sunday, November 18. We need volunteers from early morning until early afternoon. Parking passes will be provided for those who need them
