New York Beer Project Adds to Transit North Corridor

New York Beer Project has opened its two-story microbrewery and gastropub on South Transit Road at the border with Erie County. The 16,400 SF facility features both first floor restaurant seating as well as upstairs group/banquet space. Designed with a period factory-style exterior and with an open-air ceiling first floor, the microbrewery is located on the east side of NY 78 just north of the newly redesigned Niagara County Produce.
Evans Agency Opens New Site
Evans Agency has opened its new Lockport office at 5688 South Transit Road. The new location is on the west side of South Transit Road, near the Home Depot Plaza. Evans is headquartered in Hamburg and currently operates seven insurance offices and 14 bank offices in Erie, Niagara and Chautauqua counties.

 

NOCO Unveils 
New Lockport Outlet
NOCO Energy will demolish its current gas and convenience store on the east side of Transit Road, and will construct an expanded NOCO Express on an enlarged site. The current 1,500 SF facility at 6233 South Transit Road will make way for a 5,500 SF store and eatery, including a drive-through. A Tim Horton's Café & Bake Shop will be added, plus a diesel gas service and automated car wash. NOCO's frontage on South Transit Road will more than double, expanding from a 250 foot long site to more than 520 feet.
