SHOE DEPT., a division of SHOE SHOW, Inc., is an American footwear retailer based in Kannapolis, North Carolina since 1960. SHOE DEPT. also operates stores throughout the United States under the brands SHOE SHOW and Burlington Shoes. SHOE SHOW, Inc. has more than 1,141 stores in 41 states.

Transit North encompasses the section of NY 78 within Niagara County, from Millersport Highway to the Erie Canal. |
Major Water Line
Replacement Project
The Town of Lockport has begun replacement of the existing water line on South Transit Road beginning from the intersection with Tonawanda Creek Road. The first phase of the project will continue to the vicinity of Big Lots Plaza. The project involves the abandonment of the current line, which is located under the roadbed of South Transit Road, and the construction of a new 10" waterline along an alignment off the shoulder of the east side of the roadway.

TOPS to Upgrade Fa�ade

Lockport's TOPS Supermarket, located at 5827 South Transit Road, will soon begin renovation of its fa�ade. The TOPS Plaza has recently seen the addition of national retailers like TJ Maxx, Rue 21 ETC., Maurices and SHOE DEPT. Operated by franchisee Supermarket Management, the 92,000 square foot TOPS is the major anchor at the site, as well as one of the longest tenured retailers on the Transit Road Corridor.

New York Beer Project
New York Beer Project has broken ground on their new Gastropub and Brewery at 6933 South Transit Road. The expected completion of the project is in the Fall.
