A&A Beauty Supply Adds to Lockport Site

A&A Beauty Supply, a distributor of health and beauty aids, especially for the beauty salon industry, is constructing a 3,840 SF addition to its 5589 Davison Road facility. In addition to the current 13,720 SF warehousing and distribution facility on Davison Road, A&A continues to operate a retail showroom at 51 Locust Street in Downtown Lockport.

 Moley Magnetics
Purchases Facility 
 
5303 Crown Drive
Moley Magnetics, a distributor of large, magnetic and shearing components and in the repair of electric motors, has agreed to purchase the former Johnson-Rose facility in the Lockport Industrial Park. Moley will hire an additional 30 employees and increase the size of its workplace from 12,000 SF at 4922 IDA Park Drive to 55,000 SF at the 5303 Crown Drive site. The $1.4 million project includes the purchase of equipment so Moley can begin fabrication of magnets, which are used in the demolition and excavation industry.
Gooding Company Expands       Gooding Expansion
Gooding Company, which specializes in the printing of inserts and outserts for the pharmaceutical and medical industries, has begun construction of a 10,000 SF addition to its facility at 5568 Davison Road. The current Gooding facility consists of 16,500 SF. The $700,000 project includes the purchase of new equipment, and will result in the hiring of an additional 6 new employees.
Mulvey Begins Davison
Road Development 
Mulvey Construction has broken ground on the first of what is planned to be a series of small boutique retail and office buildings on the east side of Davison Road. Blue Door Salon is having a 2,146 SF building constructed at 5549 Davison Road. Nearby business activity includes Lockport Professional Office Park and Ulrich Business Park. Mulvey is considering the development of additional, similarly sized retail/office buildings on the site, south of Lincoln Avenue.
