Rue21 Opens Lockport Store

Rue21 has opened a 3,000 sf store in the Lockport Tops Plaza on Transit Road. The popular young women's and men's apparel store is located between TJ Maxx and Olympia Sports. Rue21 currently operates three other stores in Western New York, one in Niagara Falls, one in Orchard Park and one in Hamburg. 

 

Walmart Targets January Opening 

Walmart plans a January 21, 2015 opening of its Walmart Supercenter. The 185,000 SF hypermarket will be located at 5735 Transit Road on the site of the former Lockport Mall, and will be adjacent to The BonTon Department Store. General Contractor DiMarco Construction began construction in October of 2013.

Lockport Rep to Attend New York National Retail Show

Town of Lockport Economic Development Coordinator David Kinyon will attend the New York National Conference on December 8. Over 3,000 retailers and developers are expected to attend the trade show and convention, sponsored by the International Council of Shopping Centers. Mr. Kinyon will be happy to meet with national retailers and developers regarding opportunities in the Lockport retail market.

Lockport Chiropractic Moves to Lincoln Ave Location

 

Lockport Chiropractic has joined the growing ranks of professional and health care offices in the Lincoln Avenue/Davison Road Corridor of Lockport. Located approximately 1.5 miles east of NY 78, the Lincoln/Davison area features the Lockport Professional Office Park, Briody Health Care Facility and Quinlivan Rehabilitation Center, Horizon Health Services, and numerous private medical, legal and financial practices. The 2,800 SF building was renovated by the owner of Lockport Chiropractic, Dr. August Domenico.
