TJ Maxx to Open
Lockport Outlet
TJ Maxx, a national retailer specializing in off-price apparel and home furnishings has selected the Tops/Walmart Plaza in Lockport for its fifth Western New York location. Work has begun on the 23,300 square foot store, which will take over space previously occupied by Sears Hardware at 5847 South Transit Road. Other stores in the plaza include Tops Supermarket, Supercuts, Olympia Sports, Solar Nails & Spa and Nationwide Insurance. An August opening of the store is expected. The Tops/Walmart Plaza is owned by Developers Diversified Realty (DDR) of Beachwood, Ohio. TJ Maxx currently operates over 1,000 stores nationwide, and is part of TJX Companies, which also owns HomeGoods and Marshalls.

Work continues on the construction of Lockport's 185,000 SF Walmart Supercenter at 5735 South Transit Road.
