Lockport OB/GYN Opens

Kaleida Health has opened a satellite location for OB/GYN services in Lockport Commons at 475 South Transit Street. Lockport Commons consists of 36,500 SF of office/retail space, and is anchored by Rite Aid; additional tenants include Anytime Fitness and Hunt Real Estate.

Steak Stone & Sushi Selects Lockport Site

Steak Stone & Sushi, a popular Buffalo eatery, will open a second Western New York location in the Office Max Plaza. The restaurant will be located between Save-A-Lot and Dollar Tree. In addition to the Lockport outlet, Steak Stone & Sushi has another site at 2236 Delaware Avenue in Tonawanda.

Transit North News

Winter 2013

Transit North News is published by the Town of Lockport Economic Development Department in order to keep businesses located on Lockport's Transit Road Corridor informed about business developments and public improvements which may impact their operations. Transit North encompasses the section of NY 78 within Niagara County, from Millersport Highway to the Erie Canal.

Super Walmart Progresses

Construction and demolition of footers and pouring of foundations at the site of the former Lockport Mall will continue through early December for Lockport's Super Walmart Project. Structural steel will arrive during the week of December 18, and erection of the framework will commence at that time. A construction workforce of approximately 30 will increase to between 40 and 50 over the next 30 days.

Hunt Real Estate

Relocates to Transit Road

Hunt Real Estate is moving its Lockport sales office to Lockport Commons, located at the intersection of Transit and Summit Streets. The real estate agency will occupy space in the south wing of the office/retail complex at 477 S. Transit Street.
