Developer Renovates South Transit Plaza
One of the original strip plazas on Lockport's Transit Road Corridor, South Transit Plaza, is undergoing an extensive facelift by developer/owner Glen Miller. Magic Mist
Car Wash
Construction has begun on a four-bay car wash at the intersection of South Transit Road (NY 78) and Bartz Road. The facility is being constructed by Craig Heidemann, and will operate under the name of "Magic Mist". The car wash will join existing car wash services Power Wash, located at the intersection of NY 78 and NY 93, and Transit Road Car Wash, located at the intersection of NY 78 and Dorchester Road. | | |

ENHS Surgery Center
Nearing Completion | | |
Eastern Niagara Health Systems is nearing completion of its new $5.6 million Ambulatory Surgery Center at 5875 South Transit Road. Radiology and lab services opened on October 16th, and ExpressCare services are scheduled to begin in mid-November. The Ambulatory Surgery Center represents another significant investment in health care facilities in the Transit Road Corridor; located immediately adjacent are the South Lockport Medical Campus and the Snyder Drive Professional Office Park. |

Professional Bowling Association (PBA) pro Brad Angelo, a native of Lockport, has acquired the former South Transit Lanes, located at 6280 South Transit Road. In addition to the 24 bowling lanes, the facility features a pro shop, game room, bar and kitchen. | | |
Mantelli Trailer to Expand
Mantelli Trailer, one of the largest recreational vehicle outlets in Western New York, has acquired the adjoining three acres south of its current facility located at 6865 South Transit Road. Owned and operated by Mark and Kim Watson, the current sales and service facility consists of 7,460 square feet. Plans call for Mantelli Trailer to expand through a combination of demolition and new construction in order to expand outdoor display space as well as improve its RV service facilities. |
Sprint Adds Lockport Outlet
Sprint, a national telecommunications leader, has opened its third retail outlet in Western New York in the Home Depot Plaza on South Transit Road in Lockport. Sprint offers a full range of telecommunications devices at its store at 5758 South Transit Road, next to GNC in the Panera Bread wing of the Home Depot Plaza. |

Master Motors, which has operated a used car dealership at 6575 South Transit Road, has purchased the property north of its site at 6563 South Transit Road. The expanded site has enabled Master Motors to add used trucks to its inventory of vehicles for sale. | |
