"But we must hold on to the progress we have already made."
Philippians 3:16 (NIV)
Today's Focus: Relationships
Righteousness in relationships must be diligently pursued. In one moment, an outburst of anger can derail the progress a relationship has made. Hurtful words cannot be unsaid. The silent treatment halts the flow of love. Anger is a lethal pathogen that Satan uses to poison relationships. The Bible declares in both the Old Testament and New Testament (Psm 4:4, Eph. 4:26), "Let not the sun set on your anger." When disagreements occur, invite God into the matter (e.g., prayer, scripture, fruit of the Spirit, etc) and allow the Holy Spirit to guide the resolution. Be intentional and fight for peace in the situation. Peace is evidence of God's presence.
Today's Thought: Righteousness in relationships must be diligently pursued.
Today's Prayer: "God, I invite you into all of my relationships and I thank you in advance for peace."
