Today's Focus: Spiritual Life
God is not finished with you yet! The incorruptible seed of Christ lives in you and will continue to prepare you for heaven by the power of the Holy Spirit. The focus for this week is "Stay the Course." In your spiritual life, stay the course by pursuing a deeper relationship with God. Anchor your soul to three spiritual truths and resultant disciplines. First, God's love for you is unconditional and undying (1 John 4:8, Mal. 3:6, Eph. 3:18). Meditate daily on God's relentless love for you. Second, your righteousness is based upon your faith in Jesus alone - period. Jesus died for your sins and paid for your right to commune with God (John 3:16, Heb. 4:16). Therefore, pray with thankful passion daily. Third, the word of God is living and active (Heb. 4:12). Study the word of God daily and allow it to speak into your life.
