Today's Focus: Finances
God's word has much to say about money. There are scriptures on lending, borrowing, debt, wealth, giving, receiving, saving, taxes, tithing, investing, prospering, and success. All of these scriptures surely mean that our finances are important to the Lord and should be a priority for believers. We must purpose in our hearts to be good stewards over our finances in all aspects. Just maintaining is not good enough, we should endeavor to thrive financially. Create a budget, consult a financial planner, pay down debt, and tithe. It takes discipline and commitment to develop good financial stewardship, but the reward is Proverbs 13:22 "...an inheritance for your children and your children's children."
Today's Thought: A little intentional discipline now means prosperity later.

"Lord,
help me to understand your will concerning my finances and give me the discipline to be a good steward over that which has been entrusted to me."
