Today's Focus: Spiritual Life    

It has been reported in the media that a majority of Americans are not happy with their jobs; most would pick a new career that would offer a work / life balance and give personal fulfillment. People are not finding that balance or fulfillment in their current careers and, due to the economy, they are willing to stay and be unhappy. Why are a number of people not happy with their jobs? The world we live in focuses on monetary accumulation instead of pursing careers that are in alignment with our gifts and talents. We have to be intentional about seeking wisdom from God regarding our purpose and ask Him to direct our paths (Prov 3:6 NIV) as we pursue careers that draw from the gifts and talents that are within us.

Today's Thought: Seek God's wisdom and direction to obtain a fulfilling career.
