MotorHead Madness is cancelled for 2014
                   September, 2014

Sorry - due to a lack of registrations...
we had to cancel MotorHead Madness.
Another car club is having a free car
show on the same day in Poway and they
were offered the opportunity to work
together with us.  It's hard to compete
with free.

We appreciate Valvoline of Carmel Mtn - Charlie
and your fabulous crew for being a Corporate Partner.
And Schwann's who has another way you can participate
and help out Soroptimist see below.
 

 Every event with Poway Days is a fund-raiser for

 our hard working Poway civic groups who find

 endless ways to provide much needed services to

 our community and beyond...please make sure

 you support Poway Days as it helps our clubs!

 

  There is a lot more going on to Celebrate:
  - Rotary 5K Run from 7 - 8:30am
  - Poway Parade from 9 - 11am
  - Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast from 7:30 - 10:30
  - Poway Chamber Party in the Park 11 - 3pm
 Don't miss all the home town fun & activities!

   Soroptimist of Poway - Spirit of Giving

 

  Even though our event was cancelled we are still

  accepting donations to support our Transitional

  Housing program.  We move Moms & Kids out of

  abusive situations.  It takes $7k a year to support

  one family.  We currently have 3 families in our

  program.

 

   Schwan's

Quality Food & Home Delivery

 

  Schwan's was a MotorHead Madness sponsor... even

  though we are not having the show they still wanted

  to help out our club.  Great company!!

  Stop in at their booth at the Poway Chamber's Party

  in the Park after the Poway Parade and they will

  give you information on their Quality food being

  delivered directly to your home and how a percentage

  of that sale will go to Soroptimist.
