Frederick "Fritz" Fandel 
July 13, 1922 - January 11, 2017
Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am, February 18 at Sacred Heart Chapel, St. Benedict's Monastery, St. Joseph.  Link

  
Fandel's Department Store was located on the corner of 6th Avenueand W. St. Germain Street.  Link

Sandel's opened in 1900 and was razed in the 1980s to make way for Herberger's.  Link

Invincible Costume Closes
Long-time Invincible Costume & Theatrical Shop at 512 W. St. Germain Street closed last week.  They had been in St. Cloud for 28 years.  

Olde Brick House to Open Jan. 24
The Olde Brick House is heavily influence by Ireland, featuring classic Irish dishes as well as American staples like steaks, sandwiches and pasta.  Open for lunch at 11 am with full menu until 10 pm.  Late-night menu 10 pm to midnight.  Located at 102 6th Ave. S.    Link

Redevelopment on East Side
Plans for redeveloping the 400 block of East St. Germain Street are moving forward.  Former Holiday Station was purchased by Kwik Trip; Bob Abel buying the rest of the building on that block.  Link
