It's Spring!
|  The Adopt-a-Planter Program is now in its 20th year. The DTC established this program to help create a more inviting atmosphere in our Downtown for all to enjoy. Each year businesses step up to adopt a designated planter(s).
The adoption consists of a donation toward each planter for the soil and greenery. The DTC staff and handful of volunteers plant almost 1,000 plants/flowers, all led by Penny White. Adopting businesses agree to maintain with plenty of water throughout the summer months.
The DTC purchased each planter; we're now up to 53 within the Downtown core. When you are contacted, we hope you will once again participate in this colorful initiative. Thank you, again, to the adopting businesses and volunteers.

Two of MNDOT's highest level of transportation plkans are being updated in one joint process. The Statewide Multimodal Transportation Plan (SMTP) and the 20-year Minnesota State Highway Plan (MNSHIP) help
\MnDOT plan and invest for the future of the state's multi-modal transportation system. Both plans are updated every four years and are
required by state statutes.
