Downtown Marketing Campaign
|
Our role at the DTC is to help organize and pull things together that would benefit our members and Downtown. A huge thank you to the people that have come forward to work on the 106 Downtown Marketing Campaign.
We'd like to share our ideas with you and would appreciate it if you would take 2-3 minutes to complete a survey. Please let us know what you think and feel free to make suggestions as well. Thank you.

Evening at the Capital
|
Each year the Chamber showcases their members so all of our Minnesota state elected officials become acquainted with our community and the businesses located here. It's beneficial when they recognize the faces of business when we talk with them about issues and policies.
Pegg A.K. Gustafson, president of the DTC, plans to attend on April 20th. If DTC members are unable to join us but would like your issues and concerns discussed, please send an email to Pegg prior to April 20.

Customers Up Front
|
It is so very tempting. You're in a hurry and there is an open meter near your business. There may be times when you are loading or unloading, so it is necessary to park right in front. But please remember, when you do this for any length of time or on a regular basis, you are likely hurting your neighboring business and possibly your own business.
This friendly reminder is to think twice before plugging that meter and ask yourself, "Am I being a good Downtown neighbor?"

Please Dispose Properly
|
If you are a smoker, please consider this information before you throw the butts on the ground.
Cigarette butts are not biodegradable. Toxic chemicals include arsenic, acetone, ammonia, benzene, cadmium, formaldehyde, lead and toluene. The poisonous potency is amplified when the butts are leached out by rainwater.
Improperly disposed butts end up in the Mississippi River, a national treasure, and are deadly to fish and marine life. Disposing your butts properly would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
