The Lofts Unveiling
This development is not just an investment in a building.  If that was the case, what we'd be doing would be celebrating the unveiling of just another housing project.

This new residence will be an inspiration.  When you decide to build something like this, you make a clear declaration about Downtown.  A complete 24/7 Downtown offers a sense of place for everyone.  When this building opens, it will be a celebration of a belief.  And that belief is that Downtown is a place where everything is possible and nothing is impossible.  And that's why we're excited about this game-changing project.

The DTC is honored to play a part of the celebration.

Congratulations to us all!

Mississippi Partner's Seeking Grant Writer
One of our high priority projects, the RiverWalk along 5th Avenue, was selected by the Rotary Club of St. Cloud as one of two "signature projects" for the next 3-5 years.  Mississippi Partners has received $25,000 as seed money to get started on the planning for the trail corridor.  The Rotary Club has agreed to partner on this endeavor.

A standing committee has been established to work together to seek funds so that the next step in the RiverWalk, a design and engineering study, can take place.  We will need to secure $250,000 for this study.  There are grants available to help Mississippi Partners reach our goal.  A grant writer is needed to research, prepare and apply for those grants.  If interested, contact Carla Chapman in the Planning Office.

Downtown Construction Alerts
There are many exciting large projects happening in Downtown.  Seeing cranes is a sign of progress.  However, construction can also cause added parking challenges for Downtown businesses and their customers.

Staying informed about the construction projects is extremely important.  One way to do that is to sign up for Downtown Construction Alerts.  Go to stcloudparking.com for detour guide maps, downtown parking maps and to get updates.
