Capital One Winter Festival Presenting Sponsor
|  We are thrilled to be able to announce that Capital One is the Presenting Sponsor once again for what is now going to be a 2-day Winter Festival, December 11-12.

Tentative ScheduleFriday, December 11th
- Happy Holiday Express with model trains (including the Polar Express Train), visits with Santa, hot cocoa, cookies, candy canes, holiday music, Santa letter drop off and more.
- Polar Plunge in Lake George. Challenge another high school team or group. Participation costs $15 that includes bragging rights and a t-shirt. Bring a coat or blanket; a portion of the proceeds will go to support the homeless in our community.
- Laser Light Show, working with Pioneer Place on 5th to provide a laser light show with colored lights and laser beams set to music.
Saturday, December 12th - Winter Wonderland at Lake George from noon - 4pm. New this year is the Touch-A-Truck event for kids of all ages to climb on and interact with firetrucks, police cars, garbage trucks and construction equipment.
- Capital One Winter Nights & Lights Parade starts along West St. Germain at 5pm that filled with music and tradition.

UCP of Central MN Oktoberfest

Beaver Island Oktoberfest
That's right, Beaver Island Brewing Co. will be hosting their inaugural Oktoberfest under the big tent on Saturday, September 26th from noon-5pm in the parking lot directly behind BIBC on 6th Avenue. Complete with the roll-out of BIBCo's Oktoberfest beer, this event will feature 2 traditional German bands, authentic German foods, dance contests and a whole lot of fun. Kicks off at noon with music by Ray Drontle Band followed by a rousing performance by The Chmielewski Family Funtime Band. Paramount Gala, October 3rd  The annual Paramount Gala fundraiser is set for Saturday, October 3rd. 6pm - Socialize, Drink, Eat!
