Labor Day
The first Labor Day holiday was celebrated on Tuesday, Sept 5, 1882 in New York City.  It is an important moment to reflect on the courage of the working people who brought us Labor Day and the many working benefits we enjoy today.  Hoping you had a safe Holiday weekend.

Small Business Saturday Webinar
We would like to invite you to become a Neighborhood Champion for Small Business Saturday.  Celebrated the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the day helps business owners with their most pressing need -- getting more customers.

Join us to learn how you can become a Neighborhood Champion to help our downtown make the most of Small Business Saturday, November 28th.  You will learn how other communities are planning to rally their neighborhoods to Shop Small and how you can use Small Business Saturday Event Kits containing Shop Small merchandise such as balloons, bags, and other items to help support your event on the day.

The DTC, as a member of the Int'l Downtown Association, is already registered for a FREE Small Business Saturday webinar.  It will take place at the DTC office in the conference room, September 16th at 2pm.
Please RSVP by September 14 if you plan to attend the webinar .
