Winter Parade Buttons
We will be introducing Winter Festival buttons this year for the first time.  Buttons can be purchased (in the near future) at the DTC office or at one or the participating retail locations.  We expect to sell 1,000 buttons.  Last year we had over 13,000 attend the Parade and over 5,000 at the Winter Wonderland event at Lake George.

Buttons are then registered to be eligible to win great prizes donated by our local business community.  Treasure hunters may want to register their button to be eligible to win a cash prize as well.

If you are a Downtown Council retail member and want to be one of the Button Locations, please email Pegg to get on the list.  You will be included on the website, poster, mailing, Facebook and button booklet.

We are seeking button prizes such as MN Wild game tickets, hotel accommodations, concert tickets, gift cards, gift bags, etc.  Your company will be acknowledged on the website, poster, mailing Facebook and button booklet.

If you want to be the BUTTON SPONSOR or TREASURE HUNT SPONSOR, please contact Pegg at 320.333.9510 to discuss the details.
Small Business Saturday Webinar
We would like to invite you to become a Neighborhood Champion for Small Business Saturday.  Celebrated the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the day helps business owners with their most pressing need -- getting more customers.

Join us to learn how you can become a Neighborhood Champion to help our downtown make the most of Small Business Saturday, November 28th.  You will learn how other communities are planning to rally their neighborhoods to Shop Small and how you can use Small Business Saturday Event Kits containing Shop Small merchandise such as balloons, bags, and other items to help support your event on the day.

The DTC, as a member of the Int'l Downtown Association, is already registered for a FREE Small Business Saturday webinar.  It will take place at the DTC office in the conference room, September 16th at 2pm.
Please RSVP by September 14 if you plan to attend the webinar .
