Contest Submission due by July 10

The City of St. Cloud is accepting entries for the St. Cloud GREATER Photo/Video Contest.  The contest allows people to submit any photo or video combination from 9 categories, which includes business, community life, diversity, Downtown, events, neighborhoods, rivers/water, sports and transportation.  

Up to 10 entries and submissions can be entered online.  All entries must be submitted by July 10.

Health for Life "Ready Set Glow 5k" is set for Friday, June 26 at 8pm. This family-friendly 5k is lot by GLOW STICKS.  Cost is $25 per person; includes a Blender Bottle when crossing the finish line.  Health for Life is proud to host this 5k benefiting two great local organizations:  Big Brothers Big Sisters and Pregnancy Resource Center.  REGISTER 

 

Coborn's Plaza 5th Avenue Block Party is NOW accepting applications.  Coborn's Plaza and SCSU would like to invite you to take -part in the 4th annual 5th Avenue Block Party.  The goals of the event are to bring together campus and community and provide a safe and fun environment to come together.  In the past there have been over 2,000 students and neighbors attending this event.  It will be held on Thursday, September 10 from 7-10pm in the courtyard area of Coborn's Plaza.

Cost is $200 per vendor.   

 

Sandler Training has relocated to 26 8th Ave S.  Stop by to See Brian Hart's new office.    

 

The Beaver Island Trail expansion project is underway.  It will be extended from the River's Edge Convention Center to 4th Street North.   

 

St. Cloud Granite City Days runs from June 25th - June 28th.  On Saturday, June 27th from approximately 9am - 2pm, various roads will be closed to accommodate the Granite City Days Parade.  LEARN MORE

Anxiously awaiting the opening of Quarks American Bento this week or next.  Stay tuned. 

        

Konrad's now open.  This will be a nice addition to Downtown.     

 

New shop for sweet lovers opened in Downtown.  Heavenly Treats, located at 619 W. St. Germain St., specializes in cookies, but also has many other sweet treats to choose from such as muffins, fruit pizza, and caramels -- all made freshly by hand.  Check their schedule for the days they will be open.    LEARN MORE 

 

Fun watching the early stages of construction for the new Colt & Jacobsons Dentistry building directly behind their current location in downtown.                 

 

Rusty Pick is now open next to Bumbledee's.  Welcome!
