Huge congrats and thank you to Daniela Lorenz.  Daniela started working as our intern a few months ago.  She graduated from SCSU in May and is now working in the Maplewood Planning Office.  In the Fall, she will be attending the Humphrey Institute to get a masters in Urban Studies.

Daniela embodies what it means to be a leader, a team player and a role model.  She knows how to stay focused, contributed a great deal to the organization and we will surely miss her.  We wouldn't be surprised to see her running for office at some point, and she's one that can really make a difference.
Thank You Green Thumb Group
Wow, what a crew!  The planting couldn't have gone any better (or faster)!  And, within moments of the last flower being popped into the last pot, the rain came to finish our task.  It is so nice to have volunteers who enjoy getting their hands dirty.  Fairview Gardens staff and owners also did a really nice job assisting us in so many ways.

Thank you for caring about Downtown, your time and your "green thumbs":
