We'll Miss You

Kathy Severson, owner of Accents at 713 W. St. Germain Street and member of the DTC has been operating her unique home furnishings store since 2010.  We were so sad to learn that the store will be closing for personal reasons and more time to travel.

From all of us at the DTC, we wish you the very best and want to thank you for operating such a fine business in Downtown.  You will certainly be missed.

Pregnancy Resource Center, led by Julie Spore, has decided to become a member of the DTC.  They are located at 305 5th Ave S, Suite 170.

Also joining the DTC is Beaver Island Brewing Co., co-owned by Nick Barth and Matt Studer.   Located at 216 6th Ave S, this is the first brewery in St. Cloud since the St. Cloud Brewing Co. closed their doors in 1939.

Glad to have both on board.

Another Fun DTC Meet-n-Greet
Thank you to Bumbledee's and Pickled Loon for hosting the May DTC Meet-n-Greet last Thursday.  It was a nice time.  The Rusty Pick opened their doors for the first time.  Amazing food and stimulating conversation.

Dee (Bumbledee's) shared during the evening that she wouldn't still be open if not for the efforts of the DTC; and Buddy said that the Pickled Loon would likely not have opened if not for the support of the DTC.

We're the only organization actively retaining Downtown businesses and recruiting new business to Downtown; extremely proud of our 3% vacancy rate!

  • 213 volunteer hours
  • over 10,000 cigarette butts (that we prevented from ending up in the Mississippi River!)
