Spring Clean Up on May 8th
The DTC coordinates a Spring Downtown Cleanup each year.  Volunteers spiff up the Downtown by picking up garbage, weeding and cleaning out the planters (we'll be placing greenery and flowers early June in all of the planters).

The cleanup will be in and around a 30-block area within the Downtown core, behind the convention center along the trail and the Eastside.  We'll focus on the sidewalks and around the parking lots.

Business owners and staff together with the City all join in the cleanup. There will be 2 shifts:
9 am - noon  (lunch provided at noon after shift)
MEET IN THE LOBBY AT 8:45 AM AT 1010 W St
                         Germain

1 pm - 4pm   (lunch provided at noon prior to shift)
MEET IN THE CONFERENCE ROOM OF SUITE 250

Thank you to DTC member, Coborn's, for providing lunch and beverages.

Jill Herchenhahn, with BODY KINETICS, will give chair massages for our volunteers between 11:30 am - 1:30 pm (DTC conference room)

Please bring gloves and small shovels.  We will have garbage bags.

We hope that all of the Downtown businesses will take it upon themselves to do this daily, but particularly on May 8th.
