NOVEMBER/DECEMBER NEWSLETTER
|
Greetings!
In November, we remember the fallen soldiers of the past who have made it possible for us to live freely in Canada. There will be many Remembrance Day parades taking place and even though it falls on a Tuesday this year, take some time to talk to your children about the significance of the red poppies that we wear and why they may be asked for a moment of silence, because on the 11th month, of the 11th day on the 11thhour Canadian soldiers won a great battle. Lest we forget.
Another holiday season is around the corner. This is a wonderful time to make some memorable moments with your family. It doesn't take a lot to make meaningful memories; a family game night, a nature walk in the snow covered woods or sharing what goals we'd like to achieve in the New Year are some ideas.
The end of a year brings the beginning of a new one and hopefully 2014 hasn't passed in a blur. Remember to slow down and take time for the important things in life.
Happy holidays to you and your families!
Sincerely,
Leslie Wilson
