Grant Collaborations

Plan for Success, Avoid Chaos

By Dr. Lori Brown

The days of single-organization grant fund pursuits are dwindling, in favor of multi-organizational partnerships driven by a shared vision and mission for change. GrantProse will offer its final spring training workshop on May 8-9. Intended for intermediate and advanced grant writers, this two-day workshop offers a chance to dig into techniques and strategies that will take your grant writing to the next level.

Join us, and discover why others value GrantProse training so highly. Our April workshop was a great success -- 100% of participants were "very satisfied" (the highest evaluation category) with the overall quality of the course.

Visit the GrantProse training page for further details and registration information.

News you can use

Business closings, green jobs, wage information and more -- grant writers can find a wealth of online data from the Demand Driven Data Delivery System, or D4, from the North Carolina Labor Market Information Division.

LMID works with the Bureau of Labor Statistics to produce data on unemployment rates, job sectors, occupational wages, business closings and layoffs, and green-job wages and requirements. Users of D4 can drill down to specific geographic areas and time frames, exporting data in Excel or comma-delimited format. LMID's data are housed on the NC Department of Commerce's Division of Employment Security (formerly Employment Security Commission) website.
