Sometimes you never know how meeting a random stranger or a friend of a friend is going to impact your life.

About six years ago, through a mutual friend, I met two young women named Emilie and Shayna for the first time. At that time, it almost seemed like an instant connection.

It wasn't until this year that I began following their video production company called Holysmokes Productions on Facebook. Their God-assignment... Travel across the U.S. in a 1978 mini-camper for twelve months making a documentary film that investigates the mystery of speaking in tongues.

I heard they would be traveling through the St. Louis area, so I invited them to stay with me for several days. They asked me to share more about the Dream Center, East St. Louis and my experience living with the people in the John DeShields Neighborhood. After conversations over coffee, they decided to capture the heart of the ministry through creating a video for us.

In their own words, "We were so intrigued and inspired by Rachel's life in the short time we were there (visiting) we decided we absolutely HAD to document a slice of it."
