A Viticultural Voyage Wine Dinner hosted by Bartholomew Broadbent: Saturday, April 12, 6pm at the Tides Inn

SPRING OUTDOOR YOUTH SOCCER

SoccerAges: 4-14 years old

Season Dates: March 15 - May 10
Cost:
$55 Members/$70 Program Participants  

 

Jerseys, shorts, and socks are supplied by the YMCA. Shin guards are required but not supplied. Cleats are optional. All age divisions (excluding 4-5 year olds) practice 2 evenings a week with games on Saturdays.

DAUGHTERS OF THE APPALACHIANS

A one woman play. 

 
Discover the charm and uniqueness of the Appalachian Mountains through the yarn-spinning of Linda Goodman, an Appalachian native of Melungeon descent.  Looking to keep alive a culture that is fading away, she creates a magic world where fantasy and ordinary heroes come together to both entertain and inspire.

ANNUAL MEETING

Thursday night February 20, the Northern Neck Family YMCA's staff and volunteers attended the Peninsula Metropolitan YMCA's Annual Meeting at the Hampton Roads Convention Center.
 

 
 
Congratulations to Pim Montgomery for receiving the Northern Neck Family Ymca's Volunteer of the Year award. 

David Treakle was awarded the Northern Neck Family YMCA's Teen Volunteer of the Year.
 
Also, honored was Myrtle Phillips receiving the Peninsula Metropolitan YMCA's Youth Development Award.

    
 
The night concluded with our very own branch executive, Mark Favazza, receiving the Peninsula Metropolitan YMCA's Director of the Year Award.
