| HELP US BETTER SERVE YOU | |
The Peninsula Metropolitan YMCA is entering a new strategic planning cycle to determine the areas of focus for our YMCA over the next 3 years. What services are expected from the Y? What are the greatest needs facing our community today? What role should the Y play in promoting healthy lifestyles and chronic disease prevention? What should the role of the Y be in drowning prevention and water safety? How can the Y assure that we provide access to all?
These questions, and a number of related ones, will be discussed at our town hall meeting March 5 at 12pm. We value your input and would like to invite you to share your ideas which will ultimately set the strategic direction for our YMCA. Please RSVP to our Co-Director of Development, Lisa Shivers at 435-0223 or lshivers@peninsulaymca.org.

| unCORKED! | |
Dine for the Y, your Charity of Choice! Save the Date - April 12th at the Tides Inn.
unCorked is one of the most anticipated evenings of the year at the YMCA. Each year, lovers of food and wine come together for an intimate, in-depth wine tour that supports our community. This year we are thrilled to work again with celebrity chef TV Flynn of the Tides Inn and to welcome our guest speaker Barthlomew Broadbent of Broadbent Selections.
The evening opens with a signature wine tasting and silent auction, followed by delicate food pairings to enhance and compliment the experience. Barthlomew Broadbent will share stories and histories of these fine wines throughout the evening. The night continues as guests have the chance to bid on exciting items in the live auction such as art work, private-chef dinners, and a few surprises.
Since its inception in 2010, unCorked has raised over $132,000 to support the YMCA's programs focused on Lancaster's youth. To become a sponsor or purchase individual tickets, please contact Donna McGrath, Co-Director of Development, at 435-0223 or donna.mcgrath@peninsulaymca.org.
Pictured is last year's guest speaker, Ross Bruchard of Marc deGrazia Selections sharing his wine knowledge with John & Nancy O'Shaugnessy and Tom & Susan Richardson.
