| BRIGHT BEGINNINGS SHOPPING EVENT | |
For the 9th consecutive year, volunteers and the Northern Neck YMCA will take 90 Lancaster County students shopping for a "Bright Beginning" to the 2013-2014 school year. Studies show confident children perform better academically. Having new outfits and school supplies helps build this confidence. This year we are shopping the week of August 19. Please work with us in at least one of the capacities listed below to make this another successful year for our children.

SEND A KID TO CAMP | | |
 The Bum has been able to help many of our local children attend day camp this summer; $3,045 in change has been raised to date. However, he knows there are still jars filling up out in the community. If you have a "Change for Camp" jar, it is not too late to turn it in, even if it is not full to the brim. Just drop it by the Northern Neck Family YMCA at 39 William B. Graham Court, Kilmarnock, and help a few more of our children have fun in a safe, enriching environment.
