Joe was the first blind athlete in Tennessee to complete the Warrior Dash; Several chapters kicked-off 2014 with a trip to Florida for the Walt Disney World Marathon weekend. Thanks go to the Cigna Foundation for the sponsorships and to all the volunteers who joined our national athletes as guides and supporters. .Read more...

Achilles fielded one of our largest teams in Los Angeles to date this spring, thanks to the extremely welcoming folks at the LA Marathon offices.  Race Director Nick Curl has always shown a strong vision of inclusion at his race. All athletes are welcome and encouraged to persevere through those 26.2 miles and cross that finish line safely.  We absolutely love the race and the energy is superb for the Achilles athletes.  Along with staying at the historic Millennium Biltmore hotel for the weekend, we are hosted and supported by the amazing Los Angeles Fire Department. Read more...
