You're invited to the big event at the Rusk location starting Thursday, February 20 and continuing thru Saturday, February 22, to launch the new 4G service. Also, the office hours are extended at the Rusk location, 595 N Main Street Monday thru Friday - 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Thursday will offer Free Activation, on Friday, they are serving pizza and generally having a party, with a radio remote. Plus, register for the giveaway of another phone - a Moto G. Certain restrictions apply, see store for details. 4G not available in all areas. Texas State Railroad Valentine's Moonlight Special Dinner Train - 2/14/14

Valentine's Moonlight Special dinner train offers a unique way to spend the holiday with your loved one!

The Texas State Railroad is bringing back a popular event and this year it has the added bonus of occurring on the night of a full moon!

Guests on the Friday, February 14 Valentine's Moonlight Special dinner train will enjoy a reception in the portico at the Palestine Depot at 6pm featuring a spread of fruits, veggies, dips, cheeses, crackers and non-alcoholic sparkling wine.

The train, which departs at 6:30pm, will be decorated for the occasion and romantic background music will play throughout the ride. The meal will begin with a green salad with tomato, cucumber, sliced carrots, mushrooms and croutons and Black Pepper Ranch dressing on the side. The main entrée will consist of a bacon-wrapped Filet Mignon and Whisky Peach Chicken. Side dishes include tomato rice pilaf, whole kernel corn and rolls. Tea, water and coffee will also be served. Guests are welcome to BYOB but they must uncork and pour their own drinks. For dessert, guests will dine on a delicious chocolate and strawberry parfait, with a heart-shaped cookie on the side. Each guest will also be given a small gift to take home with them.

Early voting in the Democratic and Republican March 4, 2014 Primaries starts Tuesday 2/18/14 and Cherokee County residents can cast early votes thru Friday February 28, 2014.
