There is a variety of information and resources being made available almost every day regarding Ebola and how health systems and health professionals can deal with or prevent any future cases. We are listing below some of the resources and web links California and the US Dept. of Health and Human Services

In follow-up to the October 14, 2014 Stakeholder Call on Ebola, the California Health and Human Services Agency, the California Department of Public Health, the Emergency Medical Services Authority, the Department of Industrial Relations, and the Governor's Office of Emergency Services are providing the following information as requested on the call:

As always, Healthcare Facilities and Emergency Medical Services providers should continue to follow the Public Health and Medical System as defined in the Public Health and Medical Emergency Operations Manual (EOM) and contact Public Health and Emergency Medical Services through their Medical Health Operational Area Coordination (MHOAC) Program for situation reporting and resource requesting.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is working to reach as many hospital executives and healthcare providers in a variety of ways to prepare our nation's healthcare system to prevent Ebola from spreading in the United States including some informational conference calls. In recent calls, the interest has been overwhelming. You can access a transcript or recording of the calls that took place on October 9 and October 20.
