"Having survived colon cancer in 1989 and trying for 10 years to stop smoking, I finally decided it was time to really get serious about caring for my body.

"Upon arising the morning of January 1, 1999 I got onto my knees and prayed to God for help.  He answered my prayer - I never smoked another cigarette nor did I have any desire to smoke after that morning.
