Swine Flu - What You Can Do To Be Proactive
The latest scare affecting the United States, if not the world, is the Swine Flu. Nutritional Direction has for years been on the cutting edge of being proactive for the prevention of all kinds of illness and dis-ease, including all brands of "New-Name" flu.
This lastest Swine Flu is a supposed airborne virus that is very contagious human to human. In 1976, The US was put on pandemic alert for an apparently related swine flu. The pandemic never materialized; however 25 people died of pulmonary complications of Guillain-Barre Syndrome from the vaccine that was introduced to "prevent" swine flu - more than those who died of the swine flu! Twenty-five percent of the population had been injected before the vaccine was pulled. Never trust a new vaccine/drug!
The best that public health care officials can do is tell you not to breathe on anyone and tell you to wash your hands frequently. While these are good admonitions, let's be more proactive about building up a good immune system - an excellent barrier from these airborne viruses.
By all means, if you have flu-like symptoms, get to a physician. However, the best action you can take against a potential pandemic of the swine flu or any other illness is to increase the strength of your immune system.
