Screening For Nutritional Deficiencies is Critical for Early Warning Disease Prevention

Nutritional screening is an "early warning" report for the prevention of disease, as well as a more proactive approach to health. Identifying the status of the blood is an important contribution to the assessment of the level of overall health. However, results from blood work can be quite misleading when it comes to nutritional status.  The body will do whatever is necessary to maintain homeostasis in the blood, such as remove calcium and other minerals from the bone to create balance in the blood. The life is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11-NLT).  Many people are given a clean bill of health from their medical doctor based on blood results that are "within range".  However, many labs differ on their ranges.  Blood work reports normal, yet disease can be building in the body.

Because a blood test doesn't show real nutrient deficiencies, it is of very little value in terms of designing a nutritional program.

Think of blood work (or one single test, for that matter) as peering into only one window of a home you've never seen before.  A more complete picture of the functional lay out of the home comes into view when you look into a few more windows or open a door or two.  So it is with testing or screening.  Looking at the function of the body from many different angles is critical to identifying and creating a path to health.

Screenings and Tests available from Nutritional Direction:

Hair Mineral Analysis (performed by lab in Arizona)
  • Mineral imbalances lead to diseases of many kinds before symptoms manifest.
  • Identifies heavy toxic metals, as well as organ, gland and system deficiencies

Saliva tests for hormones (performed by various labs in the US)
  • Adrenal Cortisol, Thyroid, Estrogen, Progesterone, Testosterone, DHEA, etc.
  • Saliva tests for hormones are more reflective of actual hormones available for use by the body.

Phazx BodyScan (performed by Dr. Price in-office)
  • Detects imbalances in the energy flow in the body and assists the body through homeopathic remedies made specifically for the patient to re-establish balance.

Observation of Physical Details
  • Fingernails, tongue, eyes, hands, arms, shoulders, stool color and shape, etc.
